Ця церква була побудована в 1586 році. Верхня частина її нефу та купол збереглися ще з періоду її будівництва. Інші частини були побудовані в першій половині XIX століття. В даний час ця православна церква використовується як каплиця в межах римо-католицької парафії в Чешануві. Протягом періоду 1992–2002 рр. у ній проводилися капітальні ремонти. Більше того, поряд із церквою стоїть дерев’яна дзвіниця 1860 року.

The Orthodox Church in Gorayets was constructed in 1586. The upper section of its nave and the dome originate from the period of its construction. The other parts were constructed in the first half of the 19th century. Currently, this orthodox church is used as a chapel within the Roman Catholic parish in Cheshanuv. During the period of 1992–2002, it underwent thorough renovations. Moreover, next to the church, there is a wooden belfry from 1860.
