Церква побудована в 1887 році і представляє традиційні рішення, характерні для дерев'яної сакральної архітектури східного обряду. Більше того, вона має 3-частинну компоновку з куполом над нефом. Вірність старим столярним рішенням підтримує також супутня дзвіниця, побудована одночасно. В даний час ця православна церква використовується як каплиця в межах римо-католицької парафії у Верхраті.

The Orthodox Church in Prusie was constructed in 1887. It represents the traditional solutions that are characteristic for wooden sacral architecture of the Eastern Rite. Moreover, it has a 3-part layout with a dome over the nave. Faithfulness to the old carpentry solutions is also maintained by the accompanying belfry, which was constructed at the same time. Currently, this orthodox church is used as a chapel within the Roman Catholic parish in Verkhrata.
