Objectives:

Promoting economic, transporting, tourist traffic, cultural development of the upper region of Szabolcs county and Retkoz. Furthermore, establishing regional logistics, forcing international and cross-border cooperation relationships, revealing investment facilities as well as connecting marketing.

Missions:

• The Association works according to its fundamental rules and to the laws.
• Collaborates in regional promoting programmes.
• Acquaints with the advantages of joining the European Union. KIUT organises Hungarian and foreign programmes, study tours and conferences.
• Cooperates with Zahony and its Region Promotional Ltd.
• Cooperates in designing and constructing the 5th Corridor.
• Collaborates in the developing regional logistics in order to help getting acquainted its facilities in Hungary and in other countries.
• Collects informational brochures; organises previews, exhibitions, fairs, conferences and congresses.
• Spreading special knowledge necessary for economical activities.
• KIUT cooperates with other international organisations and foreign associations in order to facilitate the realisation of the objectives of its programme.
• Produces personal, material and financial resources necessary to realise its objectives by using capacity of involved state, self-governmental, economical and social organizations.
• Coordinates the cooperation of the involved organizations and persons.
• Promoting Euro-Atlantic integration.
• Protection of monuments.
• Environmental protection.
